WINDOWS, DOORS, FACADES, FILLINGS AND PARAPETS IN BRUNIED BRASS

For the Gate Central project, developed by ACPV ARCHITECTS in the historic centre of Milan, Busnelli supplied and installed display cases, window frames, facades, entrance doors, gates, parapets and panelling in burnished brass, all made to measure and with customised features.

The entire production cycle, from processing to surface treatment, was carried out in-house at the Lissone plant. Installation was carried out by in-house craftsmen to ensure the correct execution of the work on site. All construction details were engineered and developed to ensure the total absence of visible fixings, allowing for millimetric alignment and material continuity with the Ceppo di Gré cladding.

The window frame was designed with strictly controlled tolerances to optimise the interface between the reveal, parapet and window frame. The parapet, with its light and linear appearance, is anchored laterally to the reveal by means of concealed fastening systems. The reveal, in turn, integrates with the window frame and the stone façade, defining the window through essential and precise lines.

The result is an integrated technical-construction solution that meets the needs of a complex architectural context of high historical value.
